Water Recycling Facility Plant Superintendent

The District is seeking a qualified individual to join our Water Recycling Facility (WRF) as the Plant Superintendent. The Plant Superintendent is responsible for leading and overseeing all operations, maintenance, and compliance functions of the District’s wastewater treatment plant. Serving as the Chief Plant Operator and Legally Responsible Official, this position ensures the facility’s safe, efficient, and continuous operation in compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include managing treatment processes, supervising and developing staff, overseeing laboratory and compliance programs, and coordinating capital improvement planning, budgets, and service contracts. The Superintendent also provides technical expertise, represents the District with regulatory agencies, and ensures accurate reporting under NPDES and other permit requirements. This leadership role is central to safeguarding public health, protecting the environment, and supporting the District’s long-term operational goals.

Salary

$191,243.00 – $232,458.00 Annually
