Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise our skilled field crew in the operation, maintenance, and repair of water systems.
- Coordinate daily assignments, respond to emergencies, and make sure every drop gets where it needs to go.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, city codes, and best practices.
- Use your knowledge, leadership, and resourcefulness to solve problems in the field and in the office.
Ideal Candidate:
✔️ Experience in water utilities, public works, or field operations.
✔️ Strong leadership skills (coach, mentor, motivator).
✔️ Familiar with water systems, safety protocols, and field equipment.
✔️ Great communicator with a hands-on attitude.
✔️ Team player attitude and safety minded.
✔️ Can handle heat, pressure, and the occasional unexpected geyser.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 3-5 years’ experience in water distribution, treatment, or production
- 1-3 years’ experience in lead or supervisory experience
- Possession of Grade III Water Distribution or Grade III Water Treatment Certification issued by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) at hire.
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver License Class B with a Tanker Endorsement at hire.
The selected candidate who does not possess the required certification will be considered a trainee at the time of hire.
