WATER DISTRIBUTION OPERATOR II

The District is seeking a qualified individual to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the construction, maintenance, repair and replacement of water mains, services and meters, water production facilities and related equipment which includes pumps, control valves, pressure reducing valves, and other related facilities.   The position the employee to be available for stand-by duty to respond to District emergency calls during off hours. While on stand-by duty, the employee must remain within 45 miles or 45 minutes of the District office. 

Required Education & Experience: Graduation of high school or GED required. Minimum of five years of related utilities maintenance and/or repair experience or demonstrated proficiency. CA Drivers license with a good driving record. Possession of a CA Department of Health Services Water Distribution License D3 and Water Treatment Operator T2 is required.
