Utility Service Worker I

Walnut Valley Water District is excited to announce that it’s accepting applications for the Utility Service Worker I.

WVWD is seeking a dedicated individual to join the team as a Utility Service Worker I. In this position, you’ll become a pivotal part of Walnut Valley Water District’s operations department. You’ll perform a variety of assignments in the areas of customer service and field maintenance associated with the District’s water service system. This position offers hands-on work in an outdoor environment with opportunities to build your skills and advance within the District.

Required (Certification, Licenses & Experience) 

• High School graduation or equivalent
• Up to one year of experience in the reading of meters, water system operation and maintenance, and/or customer service.
• State of California SWRCB Water Distribution Operator Grade D1 Certificate is required.
• State of California SWRCB Water Treatment Operator Grade T1 Certificate is desired.
