As a Utility Service Lead (Field Service) you will be a pivotal part of the Operations Department at Walnut Valley Water District. Reporting to the Field Supervisor and Operations Manager, you’ll oversee a wide array of maintenance, installation, and repair tasks with minimal supervision. This is the advanced working level and lead position in the Utility Service Worker (Field Service) series.  

Leading the Operations Field team, you’ll provide direction, training, and coordination to ensure efficient workflow. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing the water distribution system (potable and recycled), inspecting new construction projects, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Those with a strong grasp of methods, materials, and equipment used in water system maintenance, along with proficiency in work direction and training principles, will excel in this dynamic role. This position also includes coordination, work direction, and training for less experienced staff.
