Utilities Specialist

 

If you enjoy working outdoors with an exceptional team of people and are interested in performing water and wastewater utility services, including construction, maintenance, and related service activities, we encourage you to apply! Currently, there is one part-time vacancy in the Utilities Department. A commercial driver’s licenses and water and /or wastewater certificates are desirable. This recruitment will fill full-time positions as well in the future.

Selection Components:

•  Application Evaluation – Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis with the first review date of Tuesday, June 2, 2026 or at 150 applications. Those candidates deemed most qualified, as reflected in their online application will be invited to a virtual interview.
•  Virtual Interview: Tentatively scheduled for the week of June 8, 2026. Successful applicants will be placed on an eligibility list that may be used to fill future part-time and full-time vacancies as they occur.   

Schedule:

• Part Time: This position may work up to 27 hours per week.
• If a Full-Time position becomes available, this position will work a 9/80 schedule.
