TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR / OPERATOR TRAINEE II
Operator: $83,521 – $106,598 annually, DOQ, plus excellent benefits
Operator Trainee II: $65,443 – $83,531 annually, DOQ, plus excellent benefits
PCWA is seeking a dynamic individual to perform a variety of functions related to operating, repairing and maintaining the Agency’s water treatment plants and related facilities OR assist Water Treatment Plant Operators in the operation, repair and maintenance of our water treatment plants and related facilities in an advanced trainee capacity. Our ideal candidate at the Operator level will be an experienced operator with at least two years of progressively responsible experience similar to the Agency’s Treatment Plant Operator Trainee II level, and they will possess a valid California State Water Resource Control Board Water Treatment Operators Certificate, Grade 3. The ideal candidate at the Operator Trainee II level will possess experience consistent with the State of California’s requirements for obtaining and maintaining a California State Water Resource Control Board Water Treatment Operators Certificate, Grade 2 and will possess the valid Grade 2 certificate.
