The Sonoma County Water Agency (Sonoma Water) seeks an experienced Programs Specialist II who will work in collaboration with the Grants and Funded Projects team at Sonoma Water. This position will also collaborate with member agencies of the Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership to coordinate regional programs, including managing related agreements, budgets, and program activity tracking, overseeing marketing and reporting efforts, and participating in regular meetings. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Participating in internal and external committees to represent the interests and contributions of Sonoma Water’s Water Use Efficiency (WUE) section and the Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership; reporting on insights gained, integrating relevant knowledge into ongoing work, and applying lessons learned to enhance program effectiveness
• Creating and publishing social media content, including managing paid advertisements, across various platforms for the Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership
• Developing and maintaining website content for the Partnership’s site using the WordPress content management platform
• Coordinating existing grant awards and assisting with new grant applications, including collaborating with partner agencies on program budgets, and supporting the tracking, reporting, and invoicing processes
• Researching and writing a variety of reports on assigned projects
• Attending meetings and tabling occasional outreach events
