Public Communications Coordinator

The District is seeking a qualified individual who will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the District’s public information, engagement, and water conservation programs. This role manages communications strategies to engage the community, promote District initiatives, and support internal and external messaging. The position also coordinates special events, produces informational materials, and ensures consistent, accurate, and timely information is shared with the public.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, public administration, communication, marketing, or related field is required.

Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible experience in the capacity of a Public Communications Coordinator or Outreach/Public Engagement Coordinator or equivalent job classification performing community outreach, public relations, or communications is required.
