Project Scheduler II: $63.03 – $84.77/hour ($131,107 – $176,324/year)

The Role
As a Project Scheduler I/II, you will be part of the Engineering Department—home to the planning, design, and construction of critical water facilities. Your work will directly support our Capital Improvement Program (CIP) by:
- Developing and maintaining critical path schedules for projects.
- Resource- and cost-loading schedules using tools like Primavera or Microsoft Project.
- Tracking project progress, preparing reports, and presenting variance analyses.
- Coordinating with project managers and multi-disciplinary teams.

The Ideal Candidate
You’re highly organized, deadline-driven, and skilled in critical path methodology. You excel at balancing multiple projects, producing accurate reports, and explaining results to stakeholders. You bring:
- Experience with Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Excel (Access and PowerPoint a plus).
- The ability to load labor and costs into project management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and a collaborative mindset.
Minimum Qualifications
Project Scheduler I:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, computer science, communications, construction management, or related field.
- 1+ year of experience with planning/control theory, software, and systems for critical path networks.
Project Scheduler II:
- Same degree requirements as above.
- 3+ years of relevant experience, including capital cost calculations.
