THE DISTRICT
East Valley Water District was incorporated in 1954 under County Water District Laws. We provide water and sanitary sewer services to the City of Highland and the eastern portions of the City of San Bernardino, with a service population of approximately 108,000.
Recently online, the Sterling Natural Resource Center (SNRC) is a state-of-the-art facility in San Bernardino that provides a sustainable new water supply to the region. Capable of recycling up to 8 million gallons a day, the SNRC recharges the local Bunker Hill Groundwater Basin, produces renewable electricity, and creates new opportunities for the surrounding community.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The District is seeking an Information Technology Technician who is a motivated, service-focused professional with strong technical skills and a commitment to reliable, secure, and efficient technology services. They should have a solid understanding of network infrastructure, system administration, and end-user support, preferably within a utility environment. This individual will proactively identify and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous support for District operations and the community we serve.
Candidates must possess education equivalent to an Associates degree or technical school training. Technical experience in hardware, software and network installation and maintenance may be substituted for the education on a year for year basis. Candidates must also possess a valid California Class C driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
The annual salary range for this position in Fiscal Year 2025/26 is $76,190—$92,622. The actual salary is dependent upon the qualifications and experience of the individual selected.
