Salary Range: 

Human Resources Technician I – Range 212- $38.41- $47.85 Hourly

Human Resources Technician II – Range 214- $42.36- $52.75 Hourly

Required Qualifications

Any combination of experience and education that provides the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying, along with the specific licenses/certifications as outlined below:

Experience: 

Human Resources Technician I: Two (2) years of human resources program administrative experience.

Human Resources Technician II: Three (3) years of progressively responsible human resources program administrative experience including two (2) years of experience at the Human Resources Technician I level.

Education: 

Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade. Completion of Human Resources courses is desired.

Licenses/Certifications: 

None.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ professional experience managing the recruitment process and have a deep understanding of public sector hiring policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Key qualifications include strong communication and networking skills, adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing changing priorities. EMWD is seeking a resourceful problem solver, adept at identifying and utilizing innovative solutions to overcome challenges and streamline processes. They must be a critical thinker who will analyze complex situations and develop actionable solutions which align with EMWD’s organizational goals. Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of experience in a public agency.
