Environmental Health Specialist

We are currently hiring for a regular, full-time Environmental Health Specialist position. Position normally works under the direct supervision of the Wastewater Supervisor.
SCOPE OF WORK
In general, the incumbent assists in the planning, implementation, inspection, and operation of the District’s onsite wastewater management program.
POSITION STATUS
The position is non-exempt, and therefore eligible for overtime and is occasionally scheduled to perform after-hours and weekend work. The position is also designated as a Disaster Service Worker and may be called upon to support the activities of the District during an emergency.
SALARY RANGE
The salary range for the position in Fiscal Year 2025-2026 is $114,792 – $183,666 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
