NOTE: The hiring department may consider applicants at the Civil Engineer level. If this job class is used to fill the position, the successful candidate will be hired on at the following salary: Engineer: $127,106.00.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in design, construction, operation, and maintenance of complex water infrastructure as a Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Construction engineer; should be comfortable working in both field and office settings and possess strong communication skills to effectively engage with coworkers, contractors, vendors.

The ideal candidate has experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems, asset management data records, and lifecycle planning to support replacement priorities. A proven background in infrastructure improvement projects, including pipeline rehabilitation, cathodic protection, and trenchless technologies, is highly desirable.

The candidate is experienced in water main condition assessments using advanced inspection and testing methods, as well as in the startup and commissioning of large potable water pumping plants; and has strong analytical skills, including KPIs and dashboards, along with familiarity with ESRI GIS.
