Mojave Water Agency (MWA) was established in July 1960 by High Desert voters as a regional wholesale water provider. Our service area spans 4,900 square miles in San Bernardino County, encompassing communities such as Barstow, Lucerne Valley, the Victor Valley, Yucca Valley, and their surroundings. As one of 29 State Water Contractors, MWA has access to California’s State Water Project (SWP), playing a vital role in securing water for our region.
The Director of Finance serves as the Mojave Water Agency’s senior financial executive and a trusted strategic advisor to the General Manager, providing executive leadership over the Agency’s financial operations, fiscal strategy, and long-term financial sustainability. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to shape the Agency’s financial future while working closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors on key organizational initiatives.
