THE POSITION

The Computerized Maintenance Management System, Analyst, Zone 7 classification is a single position located in the Zone 7 Water Agency and reports to the Maintenance Manager, Zone 7. The employee in this position will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Agency’s CMMS program to ensure alignment between technology and operational goals, identify efficiency improvements, control expenditures in maintenance activities, and support the integration of short and long-term goals and strategies for optimizing the Agency’s engineering, operations, and maintenance functions. The position serves as a key resource for leadership teams to align CMMS capabilities with overall Agency priorities.

MINIMUM RQUIREMENTS

Education:

The equivalent of an associate’s degree from an accredited college or completion of a vocational or technical training program in environmental science, computer science, geography, GIS, or a related field.

AND

Experience:

The equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience overseeing asset management information systems that may have included, GIS analysis, database management, and business process analysis. Two (2) of the four (4) years should include working with computerized maintenance management systems.

Substitution:

Additional experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
