Utility Department Supervisor

Rancho Pauma Mutual Water Company is hiring a Utility Department Supervisor. We are a small but efficient Water Company and seek to hire an operator that is a team player. The Company is looking for a Utility Department Supervisor that is willing to lead by example, cross train and complement our hard working team. 

Under the supervision of the Administrative Manager, performs a variety of semi-skilled to skilled heavy manual work, alone or as a member of a crew, in the construction, maintenance, and repair of water distribution and treatment systems or related utility functions.

This position requires to work stand-by on a rotational basis and report to work on a callback basis as needed within a designated time frame.

This is a non-exempt, hourly position that works in direct contact with the Administrative Manager and the general public in the scope of his or her duties

Interested candidates should have the following:

SWRCB Water Treatment Operator Grade 1 Certification

SWRCB Water Distribution Operator Grade 1 Certification

Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license

Wage is dependent on qualifications and experience. Starting base wage of $30 per hour. This is a full time position and includes competitive salary, medical insurance, standard holidays, vacation and sick time and a great work environment.
