We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wastewater Utility Maintenance Worker to join the Wastewater Collections division. This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the construction, maintenance, and repair of wastewater systems facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

Wastewater Utility Maintenance Worker I

Experience and Training

Experience:

  • No experience is required; some general maintenance and/or construction experience is preferred.

 AND

Training:

  • Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade, GED, or higher level degree.

License or Certificate

  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California Class B driver’s license within six months of appointment.
  • Completion of Volume 1 “Operation of Wastewater Collections Systems” published by the Office of Water Programs, CSUS within six months of appointment.

Wastewater Utility Maintenance Worker II

        Experience and Training

       Experience:

  •       Two years of increasingly responsible experience performing field maintenance work similar to that of a Wastewater Utility Maintenance Worker I with the City of Roseville.

       AND

       Training:

  •       Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade, GED, or higher level degree.

        License or Certificate

  •       Possession of a valid California Class B driver’s license by date of application.
  •       Possession of a California Water Environment Association Collections System Maintenance Grade I certificate by date of application.
