East Valley Water District
Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator
EVWD was incorporated in 1954 under County Water District Laws. We provide domestic water and sanitary sewer services to the City of Highland and the eastern portions of the City of San Bernardino, with a service population of over 103,000.
The District is governed by a 5-member Board of Directors elected at large and currently has 71 full-time employees working within the following departments: Administration, Customer Service, Engineering, Field Operations, Finance/Accounting, Production and Water Quality.
Recently online, the Sterling Natural Resource Center (SNRC) is a state-of-the-art facility in Highland that provides a sustainable new water supply to the region. Capable of recycling up to 8 million gallons a day, the SNRC will recharge the local Bunker Hill Groundwater Basin, produce renewable electricity, and create new opportunities for the surrounding community.
Enhance and preserve the quality of life for our community through innovative leadership and world class public service.
