Safety Specialist

Join our team as a Safety Specialist and help support the District’s Safety & Risk Management Programs and foster a strong safety culture! In this role, you’ll support safety programs, training activities, and administer safety policies. This opportunity is perfect for someone ready to make a meaningful impact through their expertise.

Under general supervision, this position will establish and maintain Districtwide safety programs including, coordinating safety training and education activities, developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting field and equipment inspections, and keeping up to date on regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate would have three years experience involving the development and administration of risk and safety programs. Experience in a public setting is a plus!

Salary Range: $102,201 – $130,437/yr DOQ
