Experience      Apr 03’ - Present  Pipeline and Utility Contractors, Inc.                 Norco, CA

                       

                        Pipeline Foreman – Installation, repair & maintenance of Commercial/Residential sewer, water storm drains, & fire lines

·        Dig trenches both manually and by construction equipment including machinery, lay pipe and fittings (SCH 40, SDR-35, VCP, C900, RCP, Cast Iron, CMLC, Ductile Iron, Polly Ethylene, copper) ranging in size from 2”-48”

·        Install and maintain valves, hydrants, meters, and mains.

·        Sweat all copper services and piping, perform all hot taps

·        Operate machinery (backhoe, loader, skip loader, excavator, skid-steer, dump truck, water truck, and boom truck)

·        Form and pour storm drain catch basins, parkway drains, and head walls, set sewer manholes, and junction structures.

·        Replace sections of sidewalk, curb and gutter.  Replace and cut asphalt.

·        Responsible for welding temporary steel platting in public right of way to open trenches. 

·        Setup and conduct traffic control

·        Call in all inspections to inspectors (fire department for hydro test, public works department inspection on any of the pipe installation in the street.

·        Install pipe in public works right away

·        Compaction of trenches

·        Test all work (hydrostatic test, air test/water test (sewer)

·        Responsible for all employees job dailies and necessary paperwork.

·        Responsible for ordering all material, supplies and tools necessary for jobs.

·        Responsible for preparing jobs for preconstruction (preconstruction meetings, moving equipment, ordering/preparing materials, line out pipeline ditches)

·        Maintenance work on equipment (oil changes, tire rotations, installing new tires, and washing equipment).  Maintain service logs.

·        Repair backhoes and work trucks such as (hoses - hydraulic and air.  Replace pumps such as hydraulic pumps and water pumps).  Troubleshoot mechanical problems. 

·        Performed welding repairs on machinery

·        Responsible for monthly inventory control and updating inventory logs.

·        Perform daily safety meetings and weekly job meetings

 

Jul 05’ - Jan 06’          Canyon Tire                                                 Corona, CA

 

Mobile Tire Technician

·        Repaired/changed all forms of tires including wheel barrow, cars, trucks, to heavy duty equipment “OTR”, construction equipment and railway equipment
