Replace and cut asphalt. · Responsible for welding temporary steel platting in public right of way to open trenches. · Setup and conduct traffic control · Call in all inspections to inspectors (fire department for hydro test, public works department inspection on any of the pipe installation in the street. · Install pipe in public works right away · Compaction of trenches · Test all work (hydrostatic test, air test/water test (sewer) · Responsible for all employees job dailies and necessary paperwork. · Responsible for ordering all material, supplies and tools necessary for jobs. · Responsible for preparing jobs for preconstruction (preconstruction meetings, moving equipment, ordering/preparing materials, line out pipeline ditches) · Maintenance work on equipment (oil changes, tire rotations, installing new tires, and washing equipment). Maintain service logs. · Repair backhoes and work trucks such as (hoses - hydraulic and air. Replace pumps such as hydraulic pumps and water pumps).
